Seasons & Weather
Deadwood sits at about 4,670 feet in the Black Hills, so nights stay cool and snow comes early and leaves late.

Summer is the busiest time, with warm days that can reach 90°F. July is the warmest month on average.
Fall brings gold aspen and birch to the hills, and the first snow can arrive in October.
