Devils Tower is America's first national monument, rising 867 feet above the trees, and it is sacred to Northern Plains and other indigenous peoples. The route crosses into Wyoming. The monument charges an entrance fee, $25 per private vehicle or $20 per motorcycle, and the entrance station takes cards only. Drive time and distance are routing estimates from OSRM; allow extra for season, traffic and road work.
