Deadwood Trolley
City trolleys link hotels, casinos, parking lots, and attractions all over town. $2 a ride.
Schedule last verified: 2026-11-02, from the city's trolley page. The city says hours can change.
Hours
The trolley runs year-round on winter and summer schedules. We found no seasonal shutdown. It is not a 24-hour service.
Winter
| Day | Hours |
|---|---|
| Sunday to Thursday | One trolley, 8 a.m. to midnight |
| Friday | 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., with a second trolley 1:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. |
| Saturday | 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., with a second trolley 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. |
Summer
| Day | Hours |
|---|---|
| Sunday to Thursday | 8 a.m. to midnight, with a second trolley 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. |
| Friday and Saturday | 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., with a second trolley 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. and a third 5:20 to 10:20 p.m. |
Call to confirm before you rely on a late or second trolley. These are the hours on the city's trolley page, but other city documents differ:
- The October 2026 newsletter prints winter Friday and Saturday end times as 2:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m., which looks like a misprint for a.m.
- The July 2026 newsletter shows no second Sunday-to-Thursday trolley in summer, and ends the second Friday and Saturday trolley at 10:30 p.m.
- The city page starts summer on May 10. Other listings say mid-May or Memorial Day, and they end it on Labor Day or in mid-September.
When does it reach my stop?
We don't show a countdown, because the number of trolleys running isn't certain and the city says delays happen. These are the minutes printed on the schedule, so use the live tracker to see where a trolley actually is.

The Deadwood Hill Trailhead stop was not yet in service on that schedule, so ask before counting on it.
